Village Valentines is a Mariemont Area and Neighboring Columbia Township scavenger hunt for hundreds of beautiful, unique, and colorful glass hearts. This event mirrors events in other towns as a way to bring community and families together and champion the contributions of small businesses in the Mariemont Area and Neighboring Columbia Township.
The Mariemont Area Chamber strives to create events that increase the awareness of the Village of Mariemont and surrounding neighborhoods as a user-friendly, walkable destination. They also promote the unique character and historical significance of the Mariemont Area and help stimulate the local economy. Village Valentines, is a one day event held on Saturday, February 8th starting at 10am.
Come explore the Mariemont Area fantastic dining and shopping scene while staying vigilant for sightings of glass hearts when you are out and about enjoying the Mariemont Area and Neighboring Columbia Township. A total of 100 glass hearts have been created by Brazee Studios specifically for this special event. They will be hidden at some of the most iconic and popular locations including area Chamber Members in The Village of Mariemont and Neighboring Columbia Township. We want these hearts to be found and loved, so they are hidden in plain sight.
If you find a heart, you are done with the hunt, and it is all yours to keep! But do not forget to register your heart, using the QR code & instructions on the heart's label.
Village Valentines is supported by The Mariemont Area Chamber of Commerce and puts its “heart” into every one of its events. But this new event, Village Valentines, is a community-wide experience like no other. We hope you will join us for this special event, and we wish you good hunting!

BASIC RULES OF THE HUNT
The hunt starts at 10am on the morning of Saturday, February 8th. As hearts are found and registered, we will update the this page accordingly.
Hearts are hidden, outdoors, in plain sight in the Mariemont Area and Neighboring Columbia Township; there's no need to look too hard.
A map is not required, but we will have outlined general Village boundaries on our website.
Iconic locations might include historic sites, near public artwork, a public park, outside a hotel, or common areas where you might sit for a while and relax, and especially where you might go to shop and dine.
Hearts will not be hidden at the Mariemont Pool or South 80. They will not be hidden at the Highschool but the Mariemont Promenade is an eastern destination!
Hearts will not be hidden inside a business, church or school, although please do visit the small businesses, restaurants and retail stores in the area! Glass hearts are not for sale.
The Glass hearts are not for sale. One heart per person. We thank you for your cooperation on this.
